In 2014 introduceerde MAC twee oogschaduw palettes met daarin 15 kleuren oogschaduw in een coole & warme variant en in 2015 verschenen er kleinere oogschaduw doosjes met daarin 9 kleuren in het vaste MAC assortiment. Binnenkort komt er een update aan waar ik op zich wel erg blij van word, er komt namelijk een nieuw X 15 oogschaduw palette aan : Mellow Moderns. Dit palette schijnt al eerder uitgebracht te zijn in de MACnificent collectie, al is er 1 oogschaduw met een andere naam in het lijstje te vinden. Dat zou een typefout kunnen zijn natuurlijk.

Op zich niet zo heel veel nieuws misschien, het nieuwe Mellow Moderns X 15 palette en dan nog twee nieuwe X 9 palettes in de kleuren Dusky Rose & Pastel. De Dusky Rose zou volgens de informatie niet helemaal nieuw zijn, maar al eerder uitgebracht, al is dat niet officieel bekend gemaakt. De Pastel times nine is niet exact wat ik verwacht had, maar ik ben dan ook geen fan van pastelkleurtjes.
Waar ik ook niet zo'n fan van ben, is de prijs van de grote X 15 palettes. Ook is het qua hoeveelheid product geen slechte deal, vind ik het een beetje jammer dat de palettes hier EUR 115,00 kosten terwijl je er in de USA maar $ 65,00 voor betaalt. Dat is natuurlijk wel een enorm verschil! ik pleit ook voor een prijsverlaging hier in Nederland, who's with me?
De nieuwe palettes van de Eyes on MAC 2016 collectie zullen vanaf 30 april 2016 te koop zijn bij alle MAC verkooppunten zoals de counters bij De Bijenkorf en Douglas, maar natuurlijk ook bij de MAC stores (data en verkooppunten altijd onder voorbehoud). Ik zal eens kijken of ik het Mellow Moderns palette kan reviewen, de reviews van een viertal andere oogschaduwpalettes kun je terugvinden via de linkjes hierboven.
