Paris Fashion Week MAC make-up trends Fall/winter 2009

Zoals ook bleek uit het interview met MAC''S David Stella hebben de MAC Pro make-up artiesten meegewerkt aan een groot aantal belangrijke fashionshows tijdens de Paris Fashion Week Fall/winter 2009. EYES:

Amber lights Eye Shadow – blended over eyelids. Buff Powder Blush used to contour the crease of the eyelids and the lower lash lines. Antique Gold Reflects – brushed along the inner corners of the eyes in a “c” shape. Tan Pigment – applied in a “c” shape to the outer corners of the eyes. SKIN: Buff Powder Blush – contouring the cheekbones and temples. Drizzle Gold Beauty Powder – highlighting the tops of the cheekbones. LIPS: Lip Conditioner – applied to moisturize lips. EYES:

Smolder Eye Kohl – blended over the lids and the lower lash lines as a solid black base to sculpt the eyes. Cinderfella Eye Shadow buffed over Smolder for a shimmer y black layer on the lids and lower lash lines. Silver Fog Pigment – brushed along the inner corners of the eyes along the lash lines. Bootblack Liquid Liner – placed along the top lash line. Graphblack Technakohl Liner – drawn inside the water lines. Zoom Fast black Lash Mascara – applied generously to lashes. Eye Brows in shades matching brows – drawn along the tops of brows to create an angled sharp brow. SKIN: Select Cover-Up Concealer – used as foundation for a matte finish. Lighter shades were applied in areas to highlight while darker shades were used to contour cheekbones and temples. Mid-Tone Sepia Cream Colour Base – used to sculpt under the cheekbones. Pinch Me Powder Blush – blended into cheekbones to soften the contour. Pink Swoon Powder Blush – blended onto the cheeks for a soft pink finish. LIPS: Cushy Cremestick Liner – lining the lips for a razor sharp outline. M·A·C Pro Lip Erase in Dim –patted onto the lips to create a contrast with the liner. EYES:

Eyes were left bare, lashes were curled. SKIN: Studio Sculpt SPF 15 – applied to the face for a natural eggshell finish. Prep Prime Transparent Finishing Powder – applied to the T-zone to set foundation. LIPS: Violeta Lipstick – used to line the top lip and fill in the bottom lip. Morange Lipstick – applied inside the Violeta line on the top lip for a two-tone orange and fuchsia lip. Prep Prime Transparent Finishing Powder – tapped onto lips for a matte finish. Fashion Designer : Giambattista Valli Make-up by : Ellis Faas EYES: Duck Power Point Eye Pencil – used to line the top lash lines and to create the winged out shape on the top lid drawn past outer corners and wrapped around inner corners of the eyes. The pencil is then buffed and blended into the skin with a brush. Blue Brown Pigment – blended into the pencil to create a two toned sheen on the top lids. Fascinating Eye Kohl – drawn into water lines and under the lower lash lines to mirror the winged shape on the top lash line. Gesso Eye Shadow – buffed over Fascinating Eye Kohl to increase opacity. Barelash Pro Long Lash Mascara – concealer-toned mascara applied to brows to nude out their natural colour. SKIN: Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation – applied to the face. Studio Sculpt Concealer – applied where needed. Prep Prime Transparent Finishing Powder – used lightly to take down shine only where needed. LIPS: Lip conditioner mixed with Lip Erase – patted onto lips to create a pale mouth. Fashion designer : Chloe Make-up by : Charlotte Tilbury EYES: Coffee and Ebony Pencils – applied to the top lash lines and buffed out past the outer corners of the eyes toward the temples. Swiss Chocolate and Mystery Eye shadows – swept over eyelids and along lower lash lines, heavily blended out toward temples through to the hairline. Plushblack Mascara – applied to top and bottom lashes. Fling Eye brow pencil – used to fill in the brows. SKIN: Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation – applied to the face as a base. Prep Prime Transparent Finishing Powder – applied to high planes of the face and under the eyes to brighten the face. Omega Eye Shadow – contouring the nose. Sculpt and Shape in Shadester and Sculpt – applied as a contour under the cheekbones, and the temples. Studio Sculpt Concealer – applied as needed with special attention around the nose. Silver Dusk Iridescent Powder/ Lose – highlighting the tops of the cheekbones. LIPS: Lip Conditioner – patted onto lips with a tiny bit of Lip Erase if needed to pale lips slightly.
