Via mijn forum kwam ik achter een geweldige scoop, namelijk de laatste roddels en nieuwtjes over de herfst 2009 collectie''s van Mac..... Even in het kort : - er komt een "Black" collectie met zwarte lipsticks, glosses, eyeshadows. Helemaal geweldig klinkt de zwarte gloss met gouden glitters die te gebruiken is op de ogen en op de lippen! - er zijn nieuwe Mineralize eyeshadows gesignaleerd (zwart) en er is een nieuwe quad gespot met mooie donkerblauwe tinten, perfect voor een smokey eye! - in september komt Mac met een nieuwe lijn nagellaks die allemaal mat zijn! helemaal te gek dus! Hier wat foto''s van de modellen van de New York Fashion Week fall 2009, de make-up is dus gedaan met bovengenoemde producten die je ook op de foto''s ziet....

MAC Cosmetics has big plans for black; it will release a still unnamed collection of black lip glosses, lipsticks, eye shadows, and greasepaint sticks later this year, all of which are as versatile as they are straightforward. Cases in point: Polly Osmond used the black lipstick from the new line to create maybe the best gray lip of the week at Tuleh; Charlotte Tilbury applied the new gold-flecked black gloss to eyes for a wet shimmer at Donna Karan; and Tom Pecheux combined the metallic black Mineralize Eye Shadow with shades of blue and gray for a more complex smoky eye at Badgley Mischka. We were even more intrigued by a tip we got backstage at Doo.Ri, where we learned that manicurist and nail polish creative genius Jin Soon is reportedly partnering with MAC to launch a line of matte nail polishes due out in September. That''s right, we''ve got more new Fall 09 colors from MAC for you to lust over. After checking out a new blue eye quad at Badgley Mischka yesterday, we previewed some more new stuff at Tory Burch tonight. The flat gold shimmer shadow and boy bait lip glass above and hand finish powder will be hitting the MAC counters this fall. MAC lead makeup artist Kendal predicts a big gold trend for autumn/winter 08-09. At Tory Burch she created a sexy and gorgeous eye with a smolder pencil lined under the lid and in a thin line close to the lashes with - quelle surpise! - no mascara. "It gives it a different look, it''s more edgy," Kendal said. One of my favorite things about fashion week is going backstage at the shows and checking out all the new colors that will be coming out for the next season. Fall 09 hasn''t disappointed, with tons of pretty blues becoming the standout trend. MAC Cosmetics will be coming out with a new blue quad that I got to check out at the Badgley Mischka show, as well as a new pale lavender lip glass, pictured above.
